SOCHI, RUSSIA -- Andrew Weibrecht, a Lake Placid native, won silver in the men's Super-G over the weekend.
Norway took gold, and Bode Miller, another U.S. athlete, took the bronze.
This marks the second Olympic medal for Weibrecht. He previously won bronze at the 2010 Vancouver games in the Super-G.
Weibrecht's parents own the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid. To celebrate his victory, they organized a champagne toast at the resort.
