SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two accidents involving state operated snow plows on the Northway resulted in drunk driving charges.
The first crash happened a little after 7:30 Saturday night between exits twelve and thirteen.
State Police said a pickup truck driven by 26-year-old Robert Clemente Junior, of Troy, hit the plow, causing the roof of his truck to be sheered off.
Clemente suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital and was charged with DWI.
Troopers said the second accident happened less than an hour later, between exits 11 and 12, when a car rear-ended a plow truck.
The driver of that car was also arrested for DWI at the scene. That person's identity has not been released.
