NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- New Hartford officials have identified the three people killed in Saturday's fire.
21-year-old Jennifer Moore, seven-year-old Joshua Morinitti, and three-year-old Jordan Morinitti were all trapped inside the Osborn Road home, when a portion of it collapsed.
The fire started just before 11 a.m., and the house was already engulfed by flames when firefighters arrived.
They tried to rescue the victims but couldn't reach them. Six other people made it out alive, including a one month old baby.
Officials said the fire started in an electrical appliance.
