ALBANY, N.Y. -- What better way to enjoy a snowy winter day than enjoying 30 different varieties of mac and cheese?
Well, hundreds of people in Albany did just that at the 5th Annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl.
There were two tasting sessions.
Adult tickets were $20 and kids ages 5 to 12 got in for $5.
All proceeds benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
"We're hoping that with all the snow keeping people inside, they'll just want to get out and have a good time and I guarantee you if you come to this event, you'll have a good time and you will not go away hungry," said Mark Quandt, Executive Director of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern, N.Y.
All of the cheese for the event was donated by the families who own the Cabot Creamery Cooperative.
