SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- With all the recent snow, spring may feel far away, but dozens had the chance to enjoy some of its beauty indoors Saturday.
Hundreds of brilliantly colored native butterflies and plant life were on display at the Museum of Innovation and Science.
There were several species to observe including Monarchs, Black Swallowtails, Painted Ladies, and more.
Viewers could even watch the butterflies as they emerged at the chrysalis chamber.
"One of our reasons for doing this exhibit is to educate people about what they can do to help butterflies and grow butterfly gardens," said Chris Hunter, Curator, Museum of Innovation and Science.
The butterfly exhibit runs through April.
