CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- Chefs from all six Mazzone Hospitality Restaurants roll up their sleeves and get a lesson in making a new dessert.
Starting Monday, the Citrus Carpaccio dish will be available at all Mazzone Restaurants.
Proceeds from the diabetic friendly dessert will help support the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure, in which bicyclists raise money to help fight diabetes.
The owner says they will have 90 people peddling this year.
"We also feed everyone after the tour. So it is not only rewarding professionally but personally, because when you ride 50 or 10 miles it things people didn't think they could do," said Angelo Mazzone, owner of Mazzone Hospitality.
The tasty dish is available starting Monday, though May.
Tour De Cure takes place June 1 at Saratoga Springs High School.
