KNOX, N.Y. -- The man who prompted a standoff in Knox last week has plead not guilty to arson charges in Albany County Court on Tuesday.
Kenneth Fortuin is being held on $150,000 bail. According to the judge, the bail was doubled because Fortuin threatened to shoot first responders.
During the court appearance, prosecutors say Fortuin had a loaded gun in his truck, and was threatening to shoot police. Last week, he was arraigned on charges of arson and obstructing firefighting operations.
