People with disabilities are encouraged to join a new online voting network. The database is focused on promoting a disability-friendly non-partisan agenda.
The Center for Disability Rights says there are more than 35 million voting-age people with disabilities across the country but only 15.6 million voted in the November 2012 election,
meaning 20 million people did not vote.
The organization wants to use this online database to change that. The New York Disability Vote Network is designed to build and unify a disability voting bloc across the state.
