People across the region are digging out after Mother Nature dumped several inches of snow overnight. Our Maria Valvanis has the story.
ALBANY, N.Y. -- "I was hesitant to believe what they said, and I was hoping they were wrong," said Louise Kuzimko, an Albany resident.
However, that wasn't the case Wednesday morning. People across the region woke up to quite the accumulation.
Kuzimko said, "I took it as a time to curl up and read a good book."
People could be seen shoveling their cars and walkways.
"It's wonderful because my neighbors and I all take turns so we don't have to be out to long," Kuzimko added.
For Frank Nicholas, a handyman, every snowflake means money in his pocket.
Nicholas said, "I'm self-employed, so when I can get out and make money, I gotta do it."
When it comes to clearing off sidewalks and shoveling out cars, everyone seems to have their own opinion about Mother Nature.
"I'm waiting for global warming," joked Kuzimko.
Nate Simms, an Albany resident, doesn't mind the snow.
He said, "I don't think there's anything wrong with it it's beautiful."
"Get out, enjoy it, have fun," added Nicholas.
