WASHINGTON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 44-year-old man now faces charges in connection to an animal abuse case in Washington County we first reported on Friday.
Neil Jordan faces 13 counts of animal cruelty and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies say Jordan left 11 dogs and other animals in a rental home on Route 46A in Shushan, with no heat, food or water.
Two rabbits were also found dead in the home.
Jordan is being charged with endangering the welfare of a child because deputies say there was no working heat at the home and dead animals were being stored in the freezer with the family's food.
Deputies say the investigation isn't over and another arrest is pending.
