SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- After a five year investigation into a fatal shooting in Schenectady, police finally make an arrest.
According to the Schenectady County District Attorney's office, Sylvester Young, 35, who is currently serving time in state prison, is accused of shooting Jumez Lee back in 2009.
Police say it happened during a private party at the former Tip Toe Inn on Altamont Avenue.
The victim was shot in the head and later died at Ellis Hospital.
A second person, a 26-year-old woman, was also shot in the back but she survived.
According to the DA, Young will be back in court next week for a preliminary hearing.
