ALBANY, N.Y. -- Food and art come together Friday night and all for a good cause.
Chefs from around the Capital Region took part in the 5th Annual Albany Chefs' Food and Wine Festival.
Roughly 70 restaurants and more than 25 wine, spirit, and craft beer companies were on hand for samplings
All in an effort to raise money for non-profit arts programs around the region.
"It just makes sense. The arts are losing their funding, the restaurants depend on those patrons to populate their restaurant, so we do a fundraiser specifically for the arts," said Donna Purnomo, CEO Wine and Dine Group LLC.
In its first four years, the Festival donated almost $300,000 to support the arts in Albany.
