COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- People helping other people in need; that's the best gift this time of year.
A young boy spent his morning giving out gifts to patients at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Jordan Corvin has spent a lot of time in hospitals, since he was six years old.
One year, someone gave him an electronic train set, which he says inspired him to give back to others.
So, Jordan and his grandmother put together goodie bags for every patient in the hospital, and they even knitted hats for the newborns.
Jordan says his reason for doing all of this is simple.
"I just hope they are happy this time of year, and not sad or not feeling well," Jordan said.
Jordan wasn't alone.
His family and a local Cub Scout group pitched in to hand out the gifts.
