BUFFALO, N.Y. — Mercy Hospital and the union that represents hundreds of workers there are still in contract talks.
A spokesperson for CWA Local 1133 says the two sides met for ten hours with a federal mediator on Monday, but still weren't able to come to terms.
The union says it is prepared to meet with hospital management again on Thursday.
Union members voted down two contracts last Monday; one by the RN bargaining unit, and one by the service, technical, clerical bargaining unit.
Union officials say they now have the right to strike, but haven't set a deadline.
