AMHERST, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo held the grand opening and dedication of a new engineering building Thursday.
The $75 million Barbara and Jack Davis Hall is located on UB's Amherst campus, and brings the engineering departments under one roof.
The university president says the school can now expand nanotechnology and pattern recognition research.
"The physical space of this building is spectacular in its own right, but what is even more remarkable is its impact on the people who will live, learn, discover, and create here," said UB president Satish Tripathi.
Davis Hall is designed to meet Gold-level LEED Certification, continuing UB's commitment to designing an environmentally responsible campus.
